where strangers became fireteams, where we stayed up until 4am on expansion launch
night and didn't regret a single hour of it.
It was Kings Fall and Vault of Glass. It was the Taken King at midnight.
It was your Ghost finding you in the dark and giving you a second chance.
It was Lance Reddick telling us to hold the line, and meaning it.
On May 21st, 2026 - Bungie announced that Destiny 2's live service would end on June 9th.
No Destiny 3 in development. No clear future for the IP.
After everything this community gave - this is not the ending we deserved.
But Guardians don't go quietly.
150,000 signatures in under 48 hours. That is not a dead community.
That is a community that never stopped caring.
That is proof the market exists, the passion exists, the players exist -
and they are ready to come back.
We are asking Sony to greenlight the future of Destiny.
Whether that is Destiny 3, a reboot, or something new built on what came before -
the golden egg is sitting right there. All they have to do is pick it up.
